I recently wrote the Lobster Institute of Maine to request permission to use some of their photos. They granted me permission, then turned the tables! After reading the PDF I was using the photos in they then asked my permission to use the PDF I created to promote their own programs - teaching the public about lobsters! I was thrilled of course - any time I get a chance to help educate kids and adults with one of my stories it just makes my day. I changed out the text on one of the pages and sent it back.
