I just watched the movie, “The Lovely Bones.” I think what I liked about it was that the pedophile gets his in the end, but not in the way we expect. It’s proof that vengeance is God’s to carry out. It may take longer than we’d like, and not be the same as we’d have done if it were up to us - but that ultimately there is justice in the universe.
For all the victims of pedophiles, child molesters, rapists, murderers and others, alive or dead - know that the …

This is one of my rare religious rants. If you are offended by talk of God or faith, stop reading right now.
I just read an editorial by Jeffrey T. Kuhner. Kuhner is a columnist at The Washington Times. I’d quote parts of the article here except if I did RightHaven would sue me for $75,000 claiming a copy right breach. Today is the birthday of my savior. Whether Jesus Christ was born in April, July, August, December - doesn’t matter as much as the fact that on THIS day we celebrate His birth. You get it. It’s not a religion - it’s a relationship with a living God.
If you haven’t heard or read …

Total Eclipse of the Moon

Thanks for this news to Neatorama, my favorite blog in the world: The only total lunar eclipse of 2010 will be visible from all of North America on Monday night/Tuesday morning December 20. That won’t happen again until 2014.
According to NASA, it’s only happened once in the last 2,000 years, in 1638. The next winter solstice eclipse, will occur in 2094, NASA says.
The entire 72 minutes of the total lunar eclipse will be visible from all of North and South America, the northern and western part of Europe, and a …
