"Becky is an amazing writer, a generous and talented woman, and one of the best writing students I've been pleased to have met, and worked with during my writing workshops. She's different. And I mean that in a good way. You never know what you're going to learn or be inspired by when you read her writing or talk with her. She's helped me with one writing workshop I've had and I'm hoping to work with her again on future workshops. She's the real deal. You won't be disappointed if you work with her.

When I decided to self-publish my two books, Writers on Writing: Inside the lives of 55 distinguished writers and editors; and Writers on Writing: the journal, Becky agreed to be my Sherpa, guiding me through the maze of this foreign land of self-publishing. I knew she was a gifted writer, but she's also a publishing wizard. She guided me as I navigated the tricky rules of Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, enabling me to avoid costly mistakes and lose control of my work. She designed two book covers that popped!  She introduced me to Ray Hoy, the incomparable layout maven, who took my ideas and created a more than credible product. After publication, she astounded me, not only with encouragement and counsel but by promoting my books as an act of generosity, a quality that defines her. If you’re ever interested in self-publishing or need a ghostwriter, Becky should be your first stop on the exciting journey of self-publishing. Even though she didn't ghostwrite anything for me, she was always in my corner, long after my books were published, supporting, encouraging, and promoting me.

Melissa G WIlson.jpeg

I've worked with Becky for almost seven years, calling on her extraordinary storytelling skills, and vast, truly photographic memory of business stories, insights, and case studies to use with my authors. Her networking skills are strong and she's generous with her contacts. She's nothing short of amazing. She seems to know something about everything — even the most obscure historical, business, and science-related topics. She's my 'go-to' developmental editor and brainstormer because she has an incredible knack for making stories, information, and data not only come alive but flow and inspire readers. My thought leader clients love her work and contributions. She's designed several book covers for me (award-winning ones at that), and her generosity with her clients is unmatched. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Melissa G Wilson

Melissa G Wilson is a three-time best-selling author, an attorney, and a book publisher in Chicago. Her best-selling books about Networking landed her on the Oprah Winfrey show three times. Her top passions are writing, helping new authors who want to make a difference through their writing, and mentoring women and at-risk youth to become authors. Her company Networlding Publishing, focuses on assisting thought leaders to write, publish, and launch "books that make the world better."I've been growing my company for the last ten years and have helped more than 120 thought leaders write, publish, and launch their "make-a-difference" books.

She consistently uses proceeds from her authors' book sales to help mentor new adults to help them learn this "new world of publishing." So far, I've mentored more than 30 new adults through an organization called Dream Careers and I can't wait to help more young people get better starts in their lives. My mentees have gone on to create stellar careers in publishing, marketing, and social media.

I've had the honor and pleasure of writing five best-sellers, one that held a #10 on Amazon for a year and also had a book on Oprah that turned into an opportunity to travel the country and hold community leadership events with kids, adults, and city leaders. One other major honor was getting to be one of 70 people who helped Seth Godin, one of the best marketing leaders in the world, reinvent publishing through his initiative called "The Domino Street Team." Her goal now is to keep helping new author thought leaders get their important books out to the world and into the hearts of others, especially youth, who can use the insights from these books to make the world better for all.

She's now on her fourth book in the series and looking forward to spinning off the series in another direction.

I collaborated with Becky on my first book, How to Say No without Feeling Guilty, Horrible, Selfish, Mean or Bad, and am very happy with the results, reviews, and sales. She not only designed and created the cover for the book, but helped me navigate through the self-publishing process, writing copy for my website, and doing the developmental edit on my book. She is an amazing writer, and a fascinating and generous person. I'm planning my second book and looking forward to collaborating with her on it as well.

Shawn Hughes.jpg

I met Becky years ago when she was a journalist and editor for The Knoxville Journal in Knoxville, Tennessee. I enjoyed her writing then as she was a credible and hard-working journalist who supported police officers because she once was one and understood what the job entailed. That said, she is a unique being in a sea of mediocrity! She has an incredible knack for sussing out a storyline, finessing an interview, or just plain creating something from nothing.

She has had well more than her share of adversity, yet I have never known her to stay down or define herself by the moment. She is, and I say this unreservedly, a true role model for younger people, especially women.

If you are on the fence about hiring her, DON'T HESITATE to contact me - I'll convince you. Becky is the right person for your needs!!

"Only 5 stars is not high enough for Becky. She has more than met my expectations and deadlines with her work product. She has truly proven to be a versatile freelancer that was able to quickly garner accurate knowledge in a field as specialized as tax accounting, which allowed her to provide a complete article. She is also very innovative and was able to take my rough draft of an idea and grow it into new products that I had not even imagined. Even beyond the product she submits she was able to be a trusted adviser to provide guidance in areas that I was not familiar with. I would happily recommend Becky to anyone."
